Meet the Irvine Team Behind Warmline Insulation Co.
When you call us about an attic in Irvine, you’re not getting routed to some call center across the country. You’re talking to the people who will actually show up at your door in a Warmline truck. We’ve built our crew the slow way since 2011, hiring technicians who live in Orange County, understand how our coastal heat and cool nights work on a house, and genuinely like solving the problems that hide above ceilings and below floors. One team. One standard. No subcontractor roulette.
Our People
Mike R., Lead Technician, Attic Insulation & Air Sealing
Mike has been with Warmline for nine years, longer than anyone else wearing our uniform. He started as an installer and now runs most of our attic insulation and air sealing jobs across Irvine, Tustin, and Lake Forest. Mike holds a BPI Building Analyst certification and has pulled more blown-in fiberglass out of 1970s Orange County ranch houses than he cares to count. Ask him about attic ventilation and he’ll tell you exactly what happens to a roof deck in August when soffit vents get buried, then he’ll show you the photo on his phone. He coaches youth soccer on Saturdays and still insists fiberglass itch builds character.
Luis M., Senior Installer, Spray Foam & Crawl Space Encapsulation
Luis leads the crews that handle closed-cell spray foam and crawl space projects, the jobs where precision matters most. He’s been installing Icynene, Demilec, and Johns Manville products for over seven years and can gauge foam lift by the sound of the gun, which is the kind of thing you only get from doing it thousands of times. Luis is our go-to for the complicated crawl space encapsulations under older Irvine homes, where he’s spent plenty of afternoons under houses working around ductwork that was never installed with insulation in mind. He’s the team’s unofficial grill master and will debate you on the best al pastor in Santa Ana after work.
Dana S., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the other end of (949) 832-7835, and she’s been answering those calls for six years. That means you don’t get a voicemail menu when you call at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, and you don’t get one at 9 at night either. She schedules every estimate, lets you know exactly when the crew will arrive, and keeps the single-visit promise realistic by getting the details right before we roll a truck. Before joining Warmline she worked dispatch for an HVAC company, so she speaks the language of homeowners who just opened an energy bill and didn’t love what they saw. She runs with her rescue greyhound on the Jeffrey Open Space Trail most mornings before the phone starts ringing.
Tony C., Apprentice Installer
Tony is the newest member of our Irvine crew, about a year and a half into his apprenticeship. He started on blown-in jobs, learning how to maintain consistent coverage and proper depth, and he’s been working toward running his own projects by spending time on both insulation removal and radiant barrier installation. Tony is that rare apprentice who asks about moisture and combustion safety before half the leads do. He grew up in Irvine, graduated from Northwood High, and rides a mountain bike that costs more than his first car.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person listed above works under the same rule, which Neil Ashford set when he founded Warmline in 2011: if the job isn’t done right, we make it right. That’s the 90-Day Done Right Promise, and it’s in writing. It means Mike rechecks air sealing before he climbs out of an attic. It means Luis doesn’t call a crawl space finished until the vapor barrier lays flat and the seams are taped clean. It means Dana hands the crew honest job details so nobody shows up under-prepared. Most jobs are completed in a single visit because we plan them that way, using materials from Owens Corning, Rockwool, CertainTeed, and the rest of the industry’s benchmark brands. Licensed and insured, background-checked and uniformed. The crew changes a bit year to year, but the standard doesn’t, and that’s the point of hiring a team that’s been doing this in Orange County for over 15 years.
